Our Vision
We aim to continuously improve the impact of our business activities on the environment and society. In doing so, we focus in particular on the safety and health of our users, the efficient use of resources, and contributing to climate protection.
Our goal is to develop safe, health-conscious, and durable power tools and related products. Through these measures, we aim not only to help reduce environmental impact and ensure the safe use of our products, but also to achieve long-term success as a company.
We take responsibility for this.
What does sustainability mean?
For us, sustainability means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In doing so, it is important to us to give equal consideration to the three dimensions of sustainability—economic efficiency, social justice, and environmental sustainability.

Responsible Management of Emissions
We are continuously working to reduce our emissions and implement appropriate measures in our business processes. Our goal is to gradually become more sustainable and thus offer future generations the same opportunities that we enjoy.
Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources
At its Steinheim an der Murr location, FLEX purchases 100% green electricity. The underlying certificates of origin prove that the electricity purchased comes from renewable energy sources. These include wind and solar energy, hydropower, and energy from biomass. In addition, the company’s own PV system generated an additional 29,989 kWh of electricity in 2025 (period: January 1 through December 31).
Renovation at the Steinheim Site
As part of the renovation of our Steinheim site, various technical and structural measures were implemented. These include, among other things, the installation of thermal insulation glazing, the installation of an energy recovery system, and the modernization of the air conditioning systems. In addition, the heating systems were replaced, and further measures were implemented on the existing building stock.
These upgrades help ensure that the site remains technically up-to-date in the long term and that energy supply is managed more efficiently.
Mobility Options for Our Employees
FLEX supports various mobility options for employees. Company-owned charging stations are available at our location for charging electric vehicles.
In addition, we offer a JobRad program that allows employees to use bicycles under attractive terms.
Proper Disposal of Waste Electrical Equipment and Batteries
Old electrical appliances and rechargeable batteries contain raw materials that can be returned to the recycling cycle through appropriate collection and recycling processes. Proper disposal also helps prevent the improper handling of the substances they contain. We comply with the relevant legal requirements for the take-back and disposal of waste electrical equipment and rechargeable batteries.
Rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries can be dropped off at public waste management facilities. In addition, we participate in the manufacturer’s own take-back system operated by the GRS Batterien Foundation.
Waste electrical equipment must also not be disposed of with household trash. In addition to municipal collection points, devices can also be sent to our service center or, if necessary, taken to a specialty retailer to ensure proper disposal.

Responsibility in the Supply Chain
Although FLEX is not subject to the legal requirements of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), we have used the principles of the law as a guide for our own standard for addressing human rights and environmental considerations in the supply chain.
To this end, we regularly conduct risk analyses and assess potential human rights and environmental risks throughout our supply chain. The insights gained are incorporated into our procurement and supplier processes and support transparent and responsible collaboration with our business partners.
Whistleblower System for Responsible Conduct
As part of our standard for addressing human rights and environmental issues in the supply chain, we provide a whistleblower system. Through this system, internal and external individuals can confidentially report potential violations or risks.
The whistleblower system enables us to identify and assess potential human rights and environmental risks at an early stage and respond appropriately. In this way, we support responsible practices throughout our supply chain and the continuous improvement of our due diligence processes. Conscious Food Choices in Everyday Work Life
Water dispensers are available at our location as an alternative to single-use beverage containers.
In addition, our cafeteria offers vegetarian and vegan meals. This expands our food offerings and provides our employees with a diverse selection in their daily work life.
Strong Against Pollutants
FLEX is actively committed to a healthy indoor environment and protection against pollutants. Our air purifiers provide an effective solution for reducing virus-laden aerosols, bacteria, dust, and pollen. Equipped with a HEPA H14 filter, they remove 99.995% of pollutant particles from the air.
Code of Ethics
We say no to corruption and bribery. In our Code of Ethics, which applies to the entire Chervon Group, we take a clear and unequivocal stand against corruption and any form of bribery.
Commitment to Social Projects
FLEX supports various social projects and initiatives at the local and international levels. We are committed to supporting institutions and organizations in the fields of education, health, and social cohesion.
Our commitment ranges from regional fundraising and support campaigns to international projects. In this way, we aim to promote social initiatives and contribute to the community.
Integrity and Responsible Business Conduct
Acting responsibly and in accordance with the law is an essential part of our corporate culture. In our Group-wide Code of Ethics and in the Supplier Code of Conduct, we define clear requirements for ethical business conduct for employees and business partners (especially suppliers). These include, among other things, the rejection of corruption and bribery, compliance with applicable laws, fair competition, and the responsible handling of potential conflicts of interest. Through binding principles of conduct, we lay the foundation for a trusting partnership with customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
