GE 6 R and GE 6 X are among the lightest wall and ceiling sanders in their class – thanks to a specially developed tube made of genuine carbon fibre.
The result is a perfectly balanced machine that can be guided precisely without fatiguing the user – especially when working overhead.
The GE 6 R is also equipped with a segmented sanding head whose rotating edge segment enables seamless work on transitions between wall and wall or wall and ceiling – without interruption, with just one hand movement.

Both GE 6 variants are equipped with a flat, gimbal-mounted sanding head, which adapts particularly flexibly to any working position thanks to a 160° swivel range – whether on walls, ceilings or transitions.
The specially developed sanding plate adapts perfectly to the respective surface and ensures an even sanding pattern with minimum effort. Thanks to the smooth action and sophisticated mechanics, you can achieve perfect surface sanding without having to apply pressure – sanding feels light and controlled.

The effective dust extraction between the brush rim and sanding plate ensures virtually dust-free work and protects the abrasive from clogging.
The electronic speed control allows you to precisely adjust the power in stages from 1 to 6 for optimum results on any surface. The integrated power LED display shows you the active level at all times.

What is the difference between the GE 6 R-EC and the GE 6 X-EC?
The GE 6 R-EC works with a rotary drive – ideal for large areas and fast material removal.
The GE 6 X-EC uses an eccentric drive, which enables a particularly fine and even sanding pattern. Perfect for demanding surfaces in the Q3/Q4 range.
Are the machines equally heavy?
Both machines are particularly light and ergonomically designed, but differ minimally in weight:
The GE 6 R-EC weighs 2.8 kg, the GE 6 X 2.9 kg.
This makes both versions among the lightest wall and ceiling sanders in their class – ideal for fatigue-free working, even overhead.
Which model is better suited to which applications?
The GE 6 R-EC is particularly suitable for filling work, e.g. in drywall construction (Q2/Q3), and for fast sanding of large areas.
The GE 6 X-EC is ideal for fine sanding work with the toughest requirements for surface quality (e.g. painting work, Q4, paint preparation).
Does the GE 6 X-EC replace the GE 6 R-EC?
No. The GE 6 X-EC complements the GE 6 R-EC – both machines will remain in the range permanently. Depending on the project and requirements, you have the flexibility to decide which variant suits you better.
How does the extraction system work?
