TRINOX 18V attachments from FLEX available as individual tools for the first time

Steinheim, September 2023 – The modular, interchangeable TRINOX 18V system from FLEX-Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH was previously not available as a single set consisting of a basic drive and attachment. From the end of September, the manufacturer will be launching the cordless metalworking tool system as a complete set for the first time. The complete versions are optionally available as a belt file, burnisher, pipe belt sander or fillet weld grinder. All versions can be easily extended with additional attachments.
The 18V tools in the Trinox system are classic manual tools for metalworking, which form an element of the basic equipment in many companies but are now used less frequently. This is where the Trinox concept offers a clear advantage for the end customer. He buys one tool but always has the option of choosing additional attachments from the FLEX range. That’s because the basic tool included in all versions bought can be fitted with any of the available attachments. This means that no expensive complete tool is needed even for infrequent work. Together with a wide selection of other tools, FLEX now offers one of the most extensive ranges of cordless metalworking tools.
A powerful basic tool
The BME 18.0-EC basic machine impresses with its streamlined handle and light weight, enabling users to benefit from the best conditions for using all attachments. The powerful 18V drive has a brushless motor that incorporates overload protection, temperature monitoring and constant electronics. In conjunction with four speed settings, functions such as a spindle lock, soft start and restart protection help to make it safer to use. The modular concept also allows the attachments to be combined with the wired BME 14-3 L (1400 W) and BME 8-4 (800 W) drives from the FLEX range.
Four complete versions
A total of four different complete versions of the Trinox 18V system are available with a variety of equipment. The FBE 30 18-EC C set with a belt file version includes two 9 and 30 mm sanding arms, a side handle and a ZIRCOFLEX 9 mm sanding belt set in addition to the basic unit. The BRE 50 18-EC C set with belt sander contains rolls for belts 9 mm in width and a set of sanding sheets. A roll set with 30 mm rolls is optionally available. The complete version with a burnisher BSE 50 18-EC C set comes with a hand guard and a knob, as well as a holder for rolls 50 mm in width (Ø100). And the LKE 152 18-EC C set with a fillet weld grinder is optimised for 152 mm compact grinding discs. In addition, the FLEX range includes a large selection of batteries, chargers and accessories for the TRINOX 18V system, offering end customers the opportunity to customise the basic equipment of their chosen complete version to suit their own requirements.
