Steinheim, October 2023 – Besides professional power tools, innovations are regularly added to the FLEX-Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH range to make everyday work in the trade easier. With up to 1,000 lumens, the new WL 1000 18.0 cordless work lamp now illuminates all jobs in the workshop and on the construction site with unrivalled brightness. The new handy SD 5-300 4.0 screwdriver for your trouser pocket is also now available.
With eight ultra-bright LEDs and a maximum brightness of 1,000 lumens, the new FLEX WL 1000 18.0 cordless work lamp illuminates even the darkest corners and poorly-lit work areas, whether for inspection and maintenance tasks or on the construction site. Depending on what’s needed, the brightness can be varied between 200, 500 and 1,000 lumens and can be precisely adjusted to suit the user’s lighting requirements. The removable battery system allows the lamp to be operated continuously at full power. When charged with an 8.0 Ah battery from the FLEX 18 V battery system, the cordless work lamp achieves a lighting time of 15.5 hours at a setting of 1,000 lumens.
A head that can be rotated 270 degrees and swivelled 180 degrees ensures maximum flexibility. This allows the light to be precisely aligned and harmonised with the work being done. A large, sturdy metal hook allows it to be hung on pipes, profiles, nails or screws. In addition, strong magnets provide a secure hold on ferrous metal and keep the work lamp in position. A belt clip included with the lamp makes handling even easier.
A screwdriver for every job
FLEX is launching a versatile everyday assistant in the shape of the new SD 5-300 4.0 turnscrew-type screwdriver. This handy tool with 5 Nm torque and a ¼" hex tool holder combines all the important functions for quick use in a small size: The three-stage torque setting and the switch for clockwise/anticlockwise rotation are positioned directly at the level of the soft-grip handle. The integrated work lamp is located directly in front of the tool holder. A 12 W USB-C charging port on the underside ensures fast charging. At up to 300 revolutions per minute, the SD 5-300 4.0 is useful in many situations such as assembling prefabricated components, installing socket covers, performing a wide range of maintenance jobs or assembling and disassembling furniture.
