FLEX cordless hedge trimmer GHT 55 18-EC now also cordless
Like the new chainsaw, the new FLEX GHT 55 18-EC hedge trimmer features the innovative 18 volt battery system. With a total weight of just 3.3 kg (including battery) and a cutting length of 55 cm, it is currently the lightest cordless hedge trimmer in this market segment. In addition its light weight and correspondingly good handling, the GHT 55 18-EC also impresses with its 25 mm cutting capacity and double grind.
The FLEX hedge trimmer has a large, swivelling handle for good ergonomics, allowing fatigue-free working. In terms of safety, the GHT 55 18-EC has an intervention guard, a double safety switch and impact protection at the tip.
The abbreviation GHT stands for "Garden Hedge Trimmer" with a 55 cm cutting length and the 18 volt battery system with brushless motor ("EC" for "electronically commutated").
Cordless chainsaw GCS 35 2x18-EC
The FLEX GCS 35 2x18-EC cordless chainsaw allows fast work progress with a 35 cm saw bar and a cutting speed of 12 m/s. Weighing just 3.9 kg (without batteries, 4.8 kg with batteries), the GCS 35 2x18-EC is particularly light and easy to handle. The tool-free chain tensioner also ensures good and easy handling. And a 150 ml oil tank with automatic lubrication ensures smooth operation.
Safety First: The GCS 35 2x18-EC has a generously-dimensioned safety brake and a transport lock for both safe handling and safe transport of the chainsaw. The GCS 35 2x18-EC also has a quick-acting brake that reacts in just 0.12 seconds.
However, chainsaws require precision as well as safety and manoeuvrability: The GCS 35 2x18-EC offers an extra soft-start switch and a 90-degree felling line for precise pruning to ensure a clean cut and a good saw start without slipping.
Cordless lawn trimmer
The FLEX 18-volt GLT 35 18-EC lawn trimmer has a 2.4 mm line. It currently offers the highest cutting speed in its market segment.
With a cutting width of 35 cm and a 2.4 mm line, it also offers top values in the latest comparison with its competitors. The GLT 35 18-EC has two selectable speed levels depending on the desired job. In addition, the handle is large, ergonomically designed and adjustable to allow fatigue-free working. As on most tools now, the FLEX grass trimmer naturally also has a mounting option for a shoulder strap to relieve the strain on the arms and make work easier overall.
FLEX leaf blower GBL 790 18-EC
At just 1.8 kg, the FLEX leaf blower is currently the lightest in its class. At the same time however, with an air volume of 790m3/h it also has the longest "breath" in its market segment. This good performance is thanks to an extra honeycomb grille design that ensures perfect air flow and high air speeds.
Regarding speed: This is infinitely adjustable on the GBL 790 18-EC, making it easier to control the air speed. And if the regular power isn’t enough, FLEX provides a turbo function with a powerful 800m3/h air volume.
And to ensure that neither the tool nor the operator runs out of breath, an ergonomically designed handle assists fatigue-free working. Another practical feature is the large base for a secure stand on all surfaces and a removable air duct with a large button for removing it.
Powerful, maintenance-free EC motors
The brushless 18V EC motor ("EC" stands for "electronically commutated" or brushless DC motor) impresses by being both wear-free and maintenance-free, as well as for its high efficiency and long service life. These motors are significantly more powerful and efficient compared with conventional brush motors. To be precise, these latest FLEX EC motors offer as much as 30 per cent more power and a service life up to ten times longer than conventional brush motors.
