XCE Positive-drive orbital polisher

FLEX XCE, the new positive-drive orbital polisher now also optionally available as a cordless unit

Steinheim, October 2019 – Die FLEX-Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH has reacted to the great international demand for the existing orbital polisher XC 3401 VRG with a new generation of the orbital polisher XCE. The FLEX XCE 10-8 generation boasts the same powerful performance, but with sound optimisation to make it even more comfortable to use. This efficient polisher is now also optionally available as an 18 V cordless unit, the FLEX XCE-18.0-EC. The FLEX XCE series orbital polishers will be available from dealers from autumn 2019 onwards.

"Our engineers have thoroughly optimised the sound of the new FLEX XCE generation. To achieve this, FLEX has combined the successful performance in Europe and the USA of the XC 3401 VRG model with a new transmission geometry, a milled angular gearbox and new transmission materials", explains Oliver Gnann-Geiger, Marketing Director of FLEX-Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH. With the positive-drive orbital motion, the new generation allows all familiar work from hologram-free defect correction through to finishing, and impresses with its excellent service life. Both transmission variants hold support plates measuring from 125 to 150 mm.

Proven performance – also as a cordless unit

Besides the optimised sound properties, the new generation offers all of the proven properties of the established model FLEX XC 3401 VR – starting with response behaviour to high torque and tractive force through to reliable surface results. The orbital polisher consequently serves as the basic unit for the hologram-free removal of sundry paint damage, or as a supplementary unit to the rotary polisher for hologram removal and finishing. Both models possess very good ergonomic properties and support perfect handling. The variant with a cable has a durable 1010 Watt motor. The cordless variant takes 18 V battery packs with 2.5 or 5.0 Ah, and has the proven KEEP COOL^TM technology and a powerful EC motor. Both models allow a very good balance and precise guiding performance. To achieve the best possible work results, FLEX recommends using only original FLEX accessories for the FLEX XCE series. The FLEX XCE 10-8 125 is optionally available as a solo unit or as a set variant including the L-Boxx and accessories. The cordless variant XCE 8 125 18.0-EC is available from dealers in the solo unit variant without batteries and charger, the basic set with batteries and charger and as a set variant with the basic equipment.
