New from FLEX: L 125 18.0-EC
Steinheim, December 2016 – From January 2017, Flex-Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH will introduce the 18.0 cordless angle grinder L 125 18.0-EC with brushless motor. As FLEX has developed new battery packs incorporating special energy management specifically for these angle grinders, this model will be sold from January 2017 onwards only as a complete set that includes a L-Boxx, two battery packs and a rapid charger.
The cordless angle grinder FLEX L 125 18.0-EC is designed for professional grinding and cutting – whether in the workshop or on a construction site, but also in vehicle repair shops and trade fair construction. With a 18.0 Volt EC motor, it has a no-load speed of up to 8,500 per minute. At the same time, its light weight makes it easy to hold, and as an option it can be guided with an additional handle.
Comprehensive protective functions
Because of its high performance, the FLEX cordless angle grinder comes with numerous control and safety functions. These range from an intelligent electronic management system to battery packs with "keep cool" technology to integrated overload and discharge protection. Functions such as spindle stop and restart protection ensure all-round user safety during operation. In addition, the soft-start also supports controlled, material-friendly workflows. The handle can be fitted on the left or right, depending on the user and the place of use. A protective metal dust screen provides additional protection for the motor.
Storage and transport in the L-Boxx
The cordless angle grinder FLEX L 125 18.0-EC is designed for a disc diameter of 125 mm. The scope of delivery includes a toolless adjustable guard, a solid rubber additional handle, a tie set and a face spanner in the L-Boxx, besides two 5.0 Ah battery packs and a rapid charger. The FLEX L 125 18.0-EC may only be operated with the supplied battery packs or the corresponding additional batteries from the FLEX accessories range.
