New from FLEX: DD 2G 10.8-EC and PD 2G 10.8-EC
Steinheim, December 2016 – When it comes to drilling and screwing jobs, professionals need efficient cordless tools that cover a wide range of applications. These requirements are met by two new 10.8 V cordless drill-screwguns from FLEX Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH, which will be available from traders from November 2016 onwards. The FLEX DD 2G 10.8-EC cordless drill-screwgun and the FLEX cordless hammer drillscrewgun PD 2G 10.8-EC have brushless motors and combine high performance with a practical size.
"Unlike with "light duty" screwguns, with our latest cordless drill-screwguns users have a real all-rounder at their disposal that can master almost all drilling and screwing jobs: whether in the workshop, on the construction site or as a portable tool", explains Oliver Gnann-Geiger, Marketing Director at FLEX-Elektrogeräte GmbH. Both the new DD 2G and the PD 2G come as standard with a removable quick-action drill chuck (0.5-13 mm). A bit holder and a removable 'bit garage' that can be positioned to the left or right under the handle are also included in the scope of delivery. For optimum adaptation to any material, the FLEX cordless drill-screwgun DD 2G has 20 torque settings plus a drilling/screwing setting. The FLEX cordless rotary hammer drill-screwgun PD 2 G offers a selection of 24 torque settings plus a drilling/screwing and hammer-drill setting.
Safety and comfort
In keeping with the performance, FLEX has designed the features of the new cordless drill completely with a view to safe handling. The especially ergonomic handle with a soft grip surface sits in the hand without slipping, while the accelerator trigger switch with a locking function provides additional safety. The intelligent electronic management system, integrated discharge protection and an easily legible charge indicator deliver additional safety functions. For particularly clean work even where visibility is poor, the cordless drills have an integrated LED lamp with an afterlight function. The right battery packs are optionally available for 2.5 Ah, 4,0 Ah and 6.0 Ah. A matching angle head is available from the FLEX accessories range.
