Compact 12 volt tools from FLEX

Steinheim, August 2024 - Compact handling, fast sawing progress and reduced vibrations: These are the key strengths of the new 12 volt reciprocating saw RS 16 12-EC from FLEX. This new, very handy cordless reciprocating saw enables you to work easily and effectively with wood, plastic and metal, including steel and aluminium. And an important highlight of this compact all-rounder: The RS 16 12-EC makes significantly faster cuts than comparable tools in its class. 

This rapid sawing progress is thanks to a 16 mm stroke, a stroke speed of up to 3000 rpm and the brushless motor of the RS 16 12-EC. A counterweight in the tool base reduces vibrations to ensure fatigue-free and ergonomic working, which in turn allows better, smoother and correspondingly easier tool guidance.

Fast progress, light weight and smooth running

Good news for all interior fitters, plumbers, electricians and painters, as well as for the automotive industry, because light weight, smooth running and, of course, the fastest possible work progress are crucial to all these jobs. Besides delivering more power, the brushless motor also provides longer run times compared with other cordless tools.

Thanks to tool-free saw blade changing and automatic saw blade engagement, the new RS 16 12-EC supports fast working even in different materials. The soft start function and flexible pivoted shoe allow the cordless tool to be perfectly applied to any workpiece. And the saw blade can be clamped offset by 180° for sawing from bottom to top.

More convenience, greater safety

The integrated LED light provides an illuminated work area for comfortable and precise work even in dark working conditions, eliminating the need for external lighting. In addition, the flexible saw support allows perfect adjustment to the angle of the workpiece.

Another safety advantage: Thanks to integrated saw blade ejection, users no longer have to touch hot saw blades and so benefit from greater work safety.

The cordless reciprocating saw RS 16 12-EC will be available in stores from September.
