Steinheim, December 2022 – In January, FLEX-Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH is launching a compact all-rounder for all trades in the shape of the 18 V cordless drill driver DD/PD 2G 18.0-EC LD. This robust screwdriver with metal drill chuck boasts the shortest head length in its class and can be perfectly adjusted to any material with 18 + 1 torque settings. The new cordless tool is available as either a drill driver or an impact drill driver
With these new drill drivers, the focus has been on delivering a perfect combination of strength, speed and compactness, as well as a compact design. Designed to deliver the best possible screwdriving results, these cordless screwdrivers provide a powerful 35 Nm for soft screwdriving and 65 Nm for hard screwdriving. Consequently, these all-rounders are optimised for use in all trades and for a wide range of materials.
Robust features
The robust features including a metal chuck (13 mm clamping width) and metal gear housing makes the compact tool the ideal companion for portable applications. The powerful 18 V brushless EC motor ensures high efficiency and a long service life. An ergonomically designed handle, an integrated LED light with afterglow function and clockwise/anticlockwise rotation with power-on lock ensure a good grip and safe use. The new 18 V cordless drill driver DD/PD 2G 18.0-EC LD is available either in a carrying case with a standard charger and 2x 18 V 2.5 Ah batteries including bit holder and belt clip, or as the tool alone. Besides quick chargers and rechargeable batteries, FLEX also offers matching bit sets as system accessories.
